Amanda Velazquez-Salazar, PhD.

Recruitment consultant

Amanda holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering on the under-voltage characterization of dielectrics through the innovation of the (F)LIMM method at the University Toulouse 3 - Paul Sabatier, France. She has expertise in dielectric characterization by space charge and partial discharge measurements, applied to the improvement of electrical components, acquired during her postdoctoral project at ÉTS. Thanks to her second postdoctoral project at CERIEC, she addressed contemporary issues that researchers, civil society, entrepreneurs and government agencies face when they wish to integrate different strategies into circular economy to reduce the impact of human activities on the environment as soon as possible. Thus, based on her post-doctoral experiences, she understands the difficulties that PhD graduates may face in integrating into other sectors outside of academia. Thus, wishing to contribute to making this transition more fluid for companies and candidates, she joined Adoc Talent Management in January 2023. She works there as a recruitment consultant.
